Finance Manager

The mission of this role is to oversee all Financial activities for NTS Tire Supply for GAAP compliance, and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with HR Compliance. Lead & Coach the team, currently three full time and one part time staff filling A/R and A/P roles.

Some of the Accountabilities that will be expected of you in this role:

• L+C=A) Leadership + Coaching = Accountability - You are team lead for a group of “A” players. Weekly 1:1’s & L-10 Team Meetings with Finance Team. Coordinate workflow/workload between team members.
• Financial Reporting - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow). Keep the GL balanced, manage loans, depreciation, bank accounts, etc.
• Internal Controls & Compliance - Maintain robust internal controls, ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and coordinate audits. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal policies.
• Sales Tax Compliance - Register to collect in states we reach the thresholds in. Ensure accurate exemption rules for each state. Remit Sales Tax to each state on time.
• HR Compliance - Assist the Management Team with HR compliance requirements, filing, documentation, etc. as needed

This role would leading the Finance Department, and you would be reporting to the CEO. It would involve overseeing all financial activity for the company, and also include preparing consolidated financials between two other small companies (FarmX and Trailside Truck Service).
