Welder/Fabricator

This role involves a variety of work including welding, drilling and jigging to wheels and other hardware for farm equipment, such as hubs, spacers, etc. The type of work will vary by the type of jobs coming in, and the workflow through the production space.

Along with this, you will be asked to help out in other areas of manufacturing as needed to keep the production line flowing as smoothly as possible.

Some of the Accountabilities that will be expected of you in this role:

• Jigging/Proper Fitment - Jig all Wheels/Components with the correct offset from the Work Order. Make sure all centers are leveled with 4 points of reference with the Jig stick. Fill in any gaps larger than 1/16” before final weld.
• Drilling Patterns - Ensure that the correct drill pattern is used from the Work Order. Clean and remove burrs from the OD, ID and bolt holes before being jigged in the rim blank or existing center.
• Welding of Components - Ensure proper wire, speed and volts are set correctly per wheel for best penetration possible.
• Clean/Prep/Inspection - After Wheels/Components are welded all slag is cleaned and edges ground down before moving on to Powder Coating. Inspected for Pin Holes and Undercut.
