Minnesota Farmer Fights Compaction with CTIS

Minnesota farmer Nathan Serbus has invested a lot in his planter to improve its performance. And last year he added a PTG central tire inflation system and Firestone VF tires to his 24-row 1770 NT planter. He now runs his planter tires at ultra-low air pressures in the field to prevent soil compaction and its negative effects on yield.
