Alliance offers several tempting combine tire options in its agricultural tire lineup. We’re going to help you sort through your options by highlighting the top 5 Alliance combine tires you’ll want to consider to keep your harvest running smoothly.

1. Alliance’s Top Combine Tire: The Agriflex+ 372

The VF-rated Agriflex+ 372 ranks among our favorite tires. (You’ll also find Agriflexes without the plus on the market, which are IF-rated.) The Agriflex+ line includes CFO options, which allow designated tires to carry an extra load for up to one mile at field speeds—perfect for combines that fill up and empty at regular intervals. The 372’s beefy R-1W tread is designed to perform in wet conditions, which definitely comes in handy for fall fieldwork in the Midwest.
2. A Close Second for Top Combine Tire: The Agriflex+ 377

The Agriflex+ 377 is Alliance’s purpose-built VF-rated tire for harvesters, spreaders, and grain carts. Its shallower R-1 tread depth and rounded shoulders make it ideal for heavy machines that need to travel across sensitive soil and don’t need maximum traction. The shallower tread also helps the 377 stay cooler on the road and extend its tread life. The 377 is a fairly new tire and is available in a few limited sizes.
3. A Standard Radial: The Agri Star II

Alliance began working on the Agri Star II in 2016, and as the company says, its goal was to produce a standard radial tire that was a good value for the money but didn’t cut corners. In our opinion, Alliance has delivered. The Agri Star II offers outstanding overall performance and matches or surpasses any other standard radial tires on the market as long as you’re comparing two tires with the same weight rating.
4. Older But Still in the Game: The 376 Multistar

Think of the 376 Multistar as the Agriflex+ 377’s older brother. In fact, this brother has reached retirement age, except for a few select sizes. However, you’ll still find this tire in inventories, both new and used, and it’s a decent option for combines and grain carts. Like Alliance’s current top-of-the-line tires, it features the brand’s Stubble Guard technology and a steel-reinforced casing to prevent downtime during harvest from a puncture.
5. Another Combine Tire Classic: The 375

The 375 (sometimes called 375 Front Harvester series or 375 Agristar) is another classic Alliance tire still available in the most popular sizes for combines—think 710s, 800s, 900s, etc. It’s a standard radial from an older generation of tires just like the 376 Multistar. However, it’s an R-1W tire, so it offers a tread similar to the modern Agriflex+ that’s going to give you a little extra bite in muddy conditions.
Steer Clear of Inferior Combine Tires
Once upon a time we used to recommend a long laundry list of Alliance combine tires. However, we’re now limiting our recommendations to only five for three reasons:
- Alliance has been trimming down its tire line to focus on fewer core models. This follows an overall ag tire industry trend. Many of the brand’s older models are only available in limited sizes.
- Combines have only become larger and heavier over time—some of them can top the weight of a dinosaur. You need high-quality, durable tires for these beasts. Cheaper tires may work on older “classic” combines, but there are fewer and fewer of these machines rolling across fields every year.
- Our current recommended combine tires have standard features that aren’t optional in our opinion: Stubble Guard technology and tough belt packages that stand up to high weights and stubble.
Get Peace of Mind with Alliance’s Farm Tire Warranty
What if something goes wrong with an Alliance tire? Alliance covers all Agriflex and Agri Star II tires with 10-year prorated workmanship and materials warranty. Both tire lines also carry a 5-year stubble damage warranty. The Agri Star II also carries a 1-Year Assurance Pledge. This means that you can return any Agri Star II tire for up to one year and receive your money back if you are unhappy with its performance. Other Alliance products, such as the 375 and 376, are covered by a 7-year workmanship and materials warranty and three-year stubble damage warranty.
In the past, we generally found Alliance to be an outstanding brand for honoring warranty claims. In the last several years, it seems like nearly every brand has been trying to clamp down on claims to some degree. Actually, let’s just go ahead and say that it’s been rough. As far as Alliance is concerned, we’d put them in the middle of the pack along with most other tire brands.
